Dear Group 2E!
Our main motive in encouraging you to take part in our first Online Debate is to assist in practicing your writing. After being familiar with the Online Debate instructions, through discussions, you have the opportunity to make use of your knowledge of arguments. Therefore, we hope you will prove us and your group mates how strong claims and effective arguments with refutations you can develop. To grade your arguments, we will be specifically focusing on:
-Language(formal) you use
-Refutation
-Evidence(such as study or research) you use to support your claims
-Coherence and cohesion
It is our strong belief that each of you will find this challenging writing process valuable practice. We keep our fingers crossed for you!
