CITING, PARAPHRASING AND QUOTING
To thoroughly judge the matter, a number of voices, at least, three need to be heard in a critical review: you, the author and another concerned writer, as this will allow you to have a look at the matter from another standpoint. Here, we are going to talk you about how to bring that third voice into your writing –how to integrate evidence. By citing, paraphrasing and quoting what others say, you show a deep understanding of the text you are engaging with. In fact, this is what your audience expects from you. In our critical review writing, this is why, we pay considerable attention to the use of effective evidence integration. To help you on this regard, we are providing links to the right materials that can be useful in learning how to integrate evidence properly.
